Hospitalists

Hospitalists are physicians who practice medicine solely in a hospital setting. At Crouse, they admit and manage the treatment of patients who come to the hospital through the Emergency Department by prior arrangement with their primary care physician; who have no primary care physician; or if their primary care physician does not practice at Crouse.

Patients rest easier knowing board-certified physicians — our hospitalists — are right in the hospital, ready to see them on a routine basis during their stay. Primary physicians appreciate the service, knowing their patients are being cared for around the clock.
