Sami Abdul Malak, MD, FAAN, chief of Neurology at Crouse Hospital, is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology. With Crouse since 2007, Dr. Malak received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, where he also completed a master’s in biochemistry and completed his residency in internal medicine. He completed his residency in neurology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. He is an active fellow in the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Malak has served in a variety of medical leadership roles and as a professor in the United States and Lebanon. He treats stroke and other cerebrovascular disorders, including migraines and headaches; epilepsy; multiple sclerosis; myasthenia gravis; dementia; Parkinson’s; tremors; peripheral neuropathy; and muscular disorders.
