Our providers can provide you with safe and secure (HIPAA compliant), conscientious care in the comfort of your own home using a phone or any type of computer: desktop, laptop or tablet. Contact your provider to ask about this service.

Masks Required: All patients, visitors and staff are required to wear surgical masks in all Crouse locations.

Screening:
All patients, visitors and staff are screened at all Crouse location entry points.

Isolation:
COVID-19 positive patients are isolated in negative pressure rooms in separate locations.

Visitation Limitations:

The COVID-19 pandemic requires us to limit visitation in order to reduce the spread of this virus and to keep our patients, visitors and staff members safe. Effective Oct. 29, and until further notice, general visitation is not permitted unless there are special circumstances. These include:

  • Emergency Services
  • Patients in Labor and Delivery
  • NICU
  • Pediatric patients 
  • End-of-life care
  • Patients for whom a support person has been determined to be essential to the care of the patient (medically necessary)

Pre-surgery Testing: All surgical patients are tested for COVID-19 prior to surgery.

Social Distancing:
Waiting areas are set up for social distancing.

Pre-delivery Testing:
All maternity patients are tested for COVID-19 prior to delivering.


Cleaning and Disinfecting:
All surface areas are deep cleaned and disinfected, rigorously and routinely.

PPE for Staff:
All staff wears personal protective equipment, based upon guidelines from the New York State Department of Health and our infection control specialists.
