Pomeroy College of Nursing at Crouse Hospital Holds 103rd Annual Commencement Ceremony

The Pomeroy College of Nursing at Crouse Hospital recognized graduates during its 103rd annual commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 24, in Hendricks Chapel on the Syracuse University campus.
Keynote Speaker was Margaret Wells, Ph.D., ANP-BC, Dean of the Le Moyne College Purcell School of Professional Studies.

Greetings were delivered to the graduates by Crouse Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer Kimberly Boynton and Chief Nursing and Clinical Services Officer Betty O’Connor. Graduate Ethan Seidl spoke on behalf of the graduating class.

The day began with a Convocation breakfast and ceremony. David Nguyen spoke on behalf of the May 2018 graduates and Elizabeth Chase spoke on behalf of the June 2018 graduates, who are the first cohort of the evening/weekend program. Closing remarks were delivered by David Falci, Assistant Dean for Faculty.

The DAISY Faculty Award was presented to Eileen Sharp, and the Exemplary Staff Award was given to Chrystal Hoyt from 4 South Irving.
