Crouse Health Foundation To Honor Michael And Noreen Falcone At Tribute Evening 2008

“An Italian Affair con Amore” is the theme for the Crouse Health Foundation’s 32nd annual Tribute Evening gala on Friday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter. The 2008 honorees are Michael and Noreen Falcone. Proceeds from Tribute Evening will further the Crouse Health Foundation’s mission to promote, solicit, accept and provide stewardship for all voluntary dollars given in support of Crouse health initiatives benefiting the health and wellness of the community. Funds acquired by the Foundation are used to purchase special equipment, underwrite new initiatives and fund educational programs and scholarships, all to help Crouse Hospital continue to provide the best in patient care and promote community health.

The Foundation has chosen to honor Michael and Noreen Falcone for their generous leadership and dedication to the betterment of Central New York. Currently serving as Chairman Emeritus of The Pioneer Companies, Michael Falcone’s real-estate career has spanned over forty years. He serves on the Syracuse University Board of Trustees and the Corporate Advisory Council for the Syracuse University Whitman School of Management and as a board member for the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce and several financial institutions. Noreen Falcone’s involvement in the community has been extensive, including national leadership positions with Le Moyne College and the Order of Malta, and on the local boards of the Central New York Community Foundation, Manlius Pebble Hill School, Francis House, Hope for the Bereaved and Junior League. General chairpersons of Tribute Evening 2008 are Daniel and Kathleen Mezzalingua.

Tribute Evening includes a social hour, gourmet dinner, tribute presentation and coffee bar. The entertainment portion of the evening will feature internationally-known vocalist Michael Amante—back by popular demand—and the culinary and vocal talents of Andy Lo Russo, The Singing Chef. General tickets for the black-tie gala are $300 per person, and patron opportunities are available by contacting the Foundation. Tables of 10 and individual attendees are welcome. For more information, contact the Foundation office at 470-7702.
