On Monday. Oct. 7, the Crouse Hospital School of Nursing hosted its third annual Scholarship and Honors Tea to recognize students who have earned either honors or high honors. Faculty, staff, scholarship donors, scholarship recipients and students who've earned honors or high honors attended the event, the first tea under the tenure of Pat Zawko, EdD, RN, the new director of the college.
“Receiving the pin of recognition is an outward thank you and congratulations to these deserving students," said Student Life Coordinator Debby Farnsworth, MS, RN. "We hope they will wear the pin with honor, since achieving honors and high honors in nursing school is a major educational accomplishment." Nine out of the students who were honored achieved a grade point average of 4.0.
