Crouse Supports Race for the Cure

Race for the Cure Icon - News Size

The 2011 Susan G. Komen Central New York Race for the Cure is this Saturday, May 14, at the New York State Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Syracuse, NY. Crouse Hospital was the first Syracuse hospital to support this event and is, again this year, a corporate sponsor.  We appreciate the work of the Komen Foundation in the Central New York community, and the Crouse Breast Health Center extends a special thank you to Komen and all those who'll be participating in the event, including members of the Crouse Team. In honor of this year's event, the lights in our landmark clock tower have been illuminated in pink.

A reminder: Early screening is the best protection for treating breast cancer. We encourage all women 40 years and older to schedule an annual exam with the Crouse Breast Health Center. Do it today and ask your friends to do so as well. We invite you to meet our Breast Health Navigators, who provide free clinical breast exams to each woman having a mammogram, as well as educational and emotional support during screening and diagnostic testing. Call 315/470-5880 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
