Firefighter Screenings
Get Screened Like Your Life Depends On It!
Cancer is the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths for firefighters, followed closely by heart disease.
The City of Syracuse health plan now offers firefighters earlier access to the following potential life-saving screenings.
Screenings are offered in collaboration with Crouse Medical Practice – Cardiology, Crouse Radiology Associates and Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY (HOA).
Registration/Scheduling:
Screenings can be completed during the 2025 Firefighter Screening Day on Saturday, May 3 or you can be scheduled to complete the screenings on another day that is convenient for you.
After you submit your form, the scheduling team will contact you between April 14-30, after 4 p.m. If you have any questions, call 315-472-7504, press 1, and then extension 1067.
Appointment priority will be given to active firefighters.
