Celebrating Patrick A. Mannion at the 2025 Crouse Health Tribute Evening Gala

Join us for an evening of tribute and celebration as we honor Patrick A. Mannion, a true pillar of the Central New York community, at the 48th Annual Crouse Health Tribute Evening on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. at The Oncenter.

Patrick’s dedication to the well-being of our region is woven into the very fabric of Crouse Health. While his tenure as chair of the Crouse Health Board of Directors has concluded, his commitment remains steadfast as he continues to serve as a valued board member, ensuring the hospital’s enduring strength and vision. His profound dedication to public service is further evidenced by his 2024 election to the New York State Board of Regents for the 5th Judicial District, where he will help shape the future of education.

From boardrooms to firehouses, Patrick’s leadership has left an indelible mark. His distinguished business career, encompassing roles as retired vice chair of Columbian Financial Group and former president, chair, and CEO of Unity Mutual Life Insurance, is complemented by his service as chair of the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce (now CenterState CEO) and the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority. Currently, he lends his expertise to the board of Central Current, a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization dedicated to bringing independent online news to Central New York.

Beyond these impressive professional roles, Patrick cherishes time with his family and community. For decades, he has been a dedicated member of the Fayetteville Fire Department, serving as a firefighter, EMT, and officer. His unwavering commitment extends to the Immaculate Conception Church, the Syracuse Catholic Diocese Bishop’s Foundation, the Partnership for Franciscan Ministries, and as a founding member of the Onondaga Environmental Institute.

A proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Syracuse University, Patrick shares his expertise as an educator at Syracuse University and as a member of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management Advisory Council. His guiding philosophy, “I am because we are,” reflects his belief in interdependence and the power of collaborative effort.

We welcome you to an evening of celebration, featuring a reception, dinner, and musical entertainment. Your support will advance Crouse Health Foundation’s vital mission.
