Ebola Preparedness

News reports about the international spread of the Ebola disease have been at the top of media reports across the globe. As a result, there is heightened awareness of the need for every hospital to take steps to protect patients, visitors and staff.

As always, the mission of Crouse Hospital is the safety and health of the Central New York community. We have established an Ebola Planning Leadership team that is working through a number of channels to ensure that our network of care providers and community partners communicate and are effectively prepared to treat and control the spread of any infectious disease in our area. Information sharing and collaboration have begun with a number of national, state and local governmental agencies and health organizations.
