Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Art Installation
The DEI&B Committee saw an opportunity to highlight the diverse workforce in the organization. Through the fundraising support of the Crouse Health Foundation and board member Melvin Stith, PhD, the committee commissioned five local artists to contribute works of art for a mural displayed on the wall in the basement level of the Irving building.
“The goal of the collection is to visually underscore the importance, value and contributions of our diverse workforce. This display continues our commitment to the healing power of art and has formed new and ongoing partnerships with local artists of color,” said Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging; Chair, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee, Twiggy Eure, EdD.
Jaleel Campbell, Tasha Fain, London Ladd and husband-and-wife duo Macienne and Esteban Trotman have contributed works which show their artistic views of DEI&B at Crouse.
Eure says she hopes the mural will be one that will grow over time.
A very special thanks to Solon Quinn Studios for collaborating with us on this project.
