Beginning Tuesday, March 20, the Irving Avenue entrance and main lobby of the hospital will be temporarily closed for renovation work related to Phase 2 of the Pomeroy Emergency Services project.
Once completed, these renovations will expand the available space in the lobby and will include additional seating for patients and guests.
During the renovation, all public, patient, guest traffic will be directed to the south side of the Irving unit, in the area of the Emergency Services parking lot. Our temporary reception, Jazzman’s coffee bar, security and valet services will also temporarily operate from this area.
This work is expected to take 20 weeks. During this time, we encourage guests and staff to use the Physicians Office Building tunnel to enter and exit the hospital, including those individuals (staff and students) coming from the Marley Education Center, which will minimize congestion in the temporary lobby area. Temporary signage marks the area as well as the garage and tunnel to direct individuals to the hospital.
If you have any questions regarding directions or parking prior to coming to the hospital, please call 315-470-7111.
New Shuttle and Medical Transport Center
We have also relocated all shuttle and employee pick-up and drop-off, along with medical transport activity newly renovated area outside of Security’s exterior entrance and across from the exit corridor of the Clocktower Café, as of Monday, March 19. This new location is a comfortable and convenient area, with an overhead canopy to protect from the elements as well as seating. Please note, this does not affect patient discharges to home.
