Crouse Health Ostomy Support Group

The Ostomy Support Group provides practical and emotional support to ostomy patients and their family. The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., at the Pomeroy Center for Community and Wellness (5404 S. Bay Road) and virtually. Anyone living with an ostomy and their loved ones and friends are welcome.

The groups are led by Nurse Practitioner Christine Kowaleski, associate professor in the Pomeroy College of Nursing at Crouse Hospital who’s certified in family, neonatal and psychiatric care. She also serves as the Regional Coordinator for Postpartum Support International.

Pink Therapy at Crouse is the area’s only support group for breast cancer survivors that meets monthly. The group gets together on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in our Marley Education Center.
