Crouse Hospital’s Spirit of Women program is offering a free night of relaxation and expert health information focusing on understanding a woman’s body and learning more about all those things you are too embarrassed to ask. Topics covered will be peri menopause, menopause, improving sexual relations, how to handle the hot flash and much more with suggestions using both traditional and integrative approaches.
This second in a series of Passport to Health programs takes women to France on Thursday, Sept. 18, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Justin’s Grill, 6400 Yorktown Circle, East Syracuse. The evening will be filled with French-inspired light refreshments and desserts, mini-massages and other spa treatments, a fun photo booth and more. Each attendee will receive a Spirit Passport (if you came to the first Passport event in May, bring your passport along), which we'll stamp, plus we have a complimentary gift for you.
Featured speakers include Yale School of Medicine’s Mary Jane Minklin, MD, Clinical Professor Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, and Crouse Hospital’s Stephen Brown, MD, of CNY Women’s Healthcare. They will share their medical expertise for using medications and natural remedies for dealing with gynecological issues.
Spirit of Women is a national network of leading hospitals dedicated to improving women's lives with innovative health and community programs. Crouse Hospital is Central New York’s exclusive Spirit of Women hospital.
