Philip Kreitzer, MD, graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's of arts in 1975. From there he attended Albany Medical College and received his doctor of medicine in 1980. During 1980-1982, Dr. Kreitzer obtained general surgery training at University Hospital. He had one year of research fellowship in surgery at the State University of New York Health Science Center. Dr. Kreitzer completed his urological residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in 1986. From there he began working at Syracuse Urology Associates, which is now known as Associated Medical Professionals of NY, PLLC.
A board-certified urologist, Dr. Kreitzer is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and he is also a member of Alpha Omega Honorary Medical Society.
In addition, Dr. Kreitzer is a co-author of “Urological Complications of Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis,” Journal of Urology. He also co-authored “Localized Genital Edema in Patients Undergoing continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis,” Journal of Urology, Volume 134, Page 880-1985.
