Crouse Hospital's neurologists and staff are committed to the care and treatment of individuals with neurologic conditions and disorders of the brain and central and peripheral nervous systems. Our physicians work closely with Crouse hospitalists, emergency medicine, radiology, neurosurgery and many other specialists to evaluate and manage a wide variety of conditions involving the brain, spinal cord, muscles and nerves in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Crouse neurologists are also actively involved in the hospital’s nationally recognized Stroke Care program. The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association awarded Crouse its "Get With the Guidelines" Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award for our stroke care excellence. A NYS-designated stroke center since 2007, Crouse is the first hospital in the region to attain this level of distinction for stroke care.
