On Feb, 1, Go Red for Women Day, Crouse Hospital and Kinney Drugs will offer the first of three free heart health screenings as part of American Heart Month. Dates, time and Kinney Drugs locations are as follows:
- Friday, Feb. 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.,7065 Manlius Center Rd., East Syracuse
- Saturday, Feb. 9, 9 a.m. to noon, 4202 West Genesee St., Syracuse
- Wednesday, Feb. 13, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., 437 Electronics Pkwy., Liverpool
Appointments are required by calling 1-888-666-8611.
Each screening includes readings for total cholesterol and glucose levels, as well as a blood pressure reading and personal consultation with a Crouse Hospital healthcare provider. No fasting is required; and results are received in approximately 15 minutes. A copy of the results can be sent to primary healthcare providers upon request.
