Anthony Monticello, MD, has joined Crouse Hospital as a dedicated gastroenterology specialist in the hospitalist service. A hospitalist is a physician who sees patients only in the hospital.
Dr. Monticello, who is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, sees patients who have gastro-intestinal medical conditions. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He received his G.I. training at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Penn State University and completed post-graduate training at McGill University’s Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal.
Dr. Monticello practiced for 30 yrs in Binghamton NY, and served as chief of gastroenterology at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. He has more than 25 years experience performing operative ERCP.
