Crouse Cardiologists To Discuss Cardiovascular Health Tuesday, March 24

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. Are you making the right diet and lifestyle decisions for optimal cardiovascular health? Are you interested in hearing the latest on critical diagnostic and interventional advances in the treatment of heart disease? Crouse Hospital invites you to join three of the region’s leading cardiologists in a public health forum on Tuesday, March 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Marley Education Center, 765 Irving Ave. The presentation, “Taking Care of Your Heart: What You Need to Know,” will educate the community about cardiovascular disease prevention and the latest treatment options. The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required by calling 315-472-2464. Free parking will be available in the Marley and hospital garages and light refreshments will be provided.

Crouse Hospital cardiologists, Joseph Battaglia, MD, Ray Carlson, MD, and Anil George, MD will discuss screening for heart disease, the latest in diagnostic testing, advances in treatment options, the role of nutrition in keeping your heart healthy, reducing the risk of heart disease with exercise and fitness and dealing with diabetes and your heart.
