Rhonda Reader, DNS, RN, CNE, has been appointed Director of the Crouse Hospital College of Nursing.
After graduating from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Reader began her career at Oneida City Hospital. She then served in various roles at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center and then with St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, most recently as their Associate Dean for Enrollment and Institutional Effectiveness. During her career she has held a variety of responsibilities in administrative, clinical/management and faculty positions.
Reader holds a doctorate in Nursing Education and Leadership from Sage Graduate School, and has a master’s degree in Nursing from Syracuse University. She is a member of many professional service committees, with a focus on ethics and moral and legal issues in nursing education.
