Patients of all ages and all walks of life are cared for each day at Crouse Hospital. Currently, a young new mother of twin girls Jenna Blaisdell-Hinman is being treated in our Intensive Care Unit by a multidisciplinary team of Crouse physicians using unprecendented measures to save her life. She has Choriocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer that strikes just one in 160,000 women having a 'normal' pregnancy.
With the permission of Jenna's husband, Brandon Hinman, we will be following her treatment here through a collection of media coverage that has shared the experience of this young new family. Thoughts and prayers of the entire Crouse family are with Jenna, Brandon, Kinleigh and Azlynn Hinman and the entire Blaisdell and Hinman families.
