Did you know back pain affects 80 percent of Americans at some point in their lives? As technology changes and techniques improve, more people are able to find relief. On Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., neurosurgeon Ross Moquin, MD, and orthopedic spine surgeon Raman Dhawan, MD, will discuss the latest in diagnosis and treatment options for back pain.
The physicians will discuss the causes of back and spine pain, as well as how problems are diagnosed. They will also address how to know whether back surgery is appropriate for you, surgical and non-surgical treatment options, warning signs of more serious problems and the role of physical therapy and proper nutrition.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held in the Marley Education Center, 765 Irving Ave. Free parking is available in the Marley and Crouse Hospital garages. Pre-registration is requested by calling 315/472-2464.
