Update Sunday, March 10:
The Crouse float captured the Grand Marshal's Award for the third consecutive year!
For the fourth consecutive year, Crouse Hospital employees are showing their Crouse pride and love of our community by participating in the 31st annual Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade on Saturday, March 9. This year's theme is "Come into the Parlor: The Warmth of Irish Hospitality."
Phlebotomy Supervisor Sue LeRoy, who organized our participation again this year, said the Crouse float will again reflect the parade's theme interwined with the Crouse spirit. The hospital's entry has captured the Grand Marshal's Award (Best Business/Corporate Float) for the past two consecutive years. "We're hoping the luck of the Irish is with us again in 2013," says Sue, with fingers crossed.
The parage begins at noon as it heads down South Salina Street in downtown Syracuse until 3 p.m.
For Crouse employees participating: Line-up at 11:45 a.m. on West Genesee St., three or four blocks west of N. Salina St. Look for the clocktower!
