They're Back: Crouse Germinators Release HAC No! 2

02/06/13

Germinators Two NewsWith more than 6,000 YouTube views in just five weeks of their debut ‘HAC No!’ video, the Crouse Germinators keep the ball rolling with this follow-up morsel that features a cast of, well, dozens of Crouse Hospital team members.

As the hospital continues its focus on providing the best in patient care (our mission and our Vision 1), reducing HACs -- hospital-acquired conditions -- will remain a top strategic priority for the organization.

According to lead Germinator Dr. Mickey Lebowitz, “Every one of us can prevent HACs. We have expert teams that have worked hard to put improvement processes in place to prevent or reduce these conditions (STOP CAUTI, C dif, CLABSI, falls prevention) and we’ve seen positive results. Now we just all need to work it--everyone has a role to play.”

"HAC No! We want our complication rate to be zero!"
