On Thursday, Sept. 27, the Crouse Hospital College of Nursing will host a special event, "100 Days to 100 Years," which will kickoff the countdown of the next 100 days until the college reaches 2013, its 100th anniversary year.
The celebration, 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room of the Marley Education Center, 765 Irving Ave, will feature refreshments, a drawing for a $100 gift card and a sneak peek of some of the historical displays planned over the course of the next 100 days and over the course of the anniversary commemorative events. All alumni of the college are invited to attend.
As a souvenir of the 100th anniversary, the college has prepared box sets of five cards depicting scenes from the early days of the college. The cards will be on sale through the College of Nursing.
