Crouse Hospital invites Central New York emergency medical services (EMS) professionals at all levels to our third annual EMS Fall Teaching Day on Monday, Oct. 1, at the Marley Education Center, 765 Ivring Ave.. Join our team of experts for a day of valuable hands-on learning and doing, focusing on the latest stroke/cardiac care and treatment, skills development/enhancement and interactive demonstrations.
The free, day-long program features Crouse Hospital emergency services, cardiac care and neonatology experts. The program will also include a review of current emergency medicine issues in cardiology and neonatology, with presentations and case studies focusing on high risk neonates, stroke care, cardiology, EMS quality improvement, benign-appearing true emergencies and protocol updates for 2013. Following the program, participants will be able to identify evidence-based strategies and treatment options for pre-hospital care and integrate these strategies into their practice.
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided, and we've scheduled time for networking with vendors and colleagues.
To register, contact Shirley Procopio or call 315/470-7308 by Sept. 25. Check out our YouTube Channel for more on the first annual EMS Teaching Day in 2010.
