Work continues on the expansion of the Crouse Breast Health Center.
Scheduled to open in mid-September, the renovated and expanded center, located on the ground floor of the CNY Medical Center (across the street from Crouse Hospital), will be 600 square feet larger and will feature private consultation and changing rooms, two image reading suites and a bigger, more comfortable welcoming and private patient registration area.
“Physical surroundings and privacy are particularly important to women who find having a mammogram or receiving follow-up breast healthcare to be an uncomfortable or worrisome experience,” says Stephen Montgomery, MD, medical director of breast health services at Crouse Hospital. “This major renovation addresses those issues and will provide a much more patient-friendly experience.”
If you or someone you love has been the beneficiary of breast healthcare services at Crouse, please consider a gift in their honor or in thanks to a physician, nurse or other staff member. Just call the Crouse Health Foundation at 315/470-7702 or donate online.
