The Crouse Clock Tower Cafe team is pleased to announce the official opening of "Cucina Crouse" today, which will bring mouthwatering new additions to its varied menu: oven-baked pizza and calzones, made right in the Crouse cucina (kitchen) in newly inslalled, state-of-the-art ovens designed expressly to make a wide variety of lunch-time specialties, including a whole wheat crust pizza for the "Simply Well" crowd.
Executive Chef Todd Corcoran (center) and our top-notch cafe staff (from left, Matt McCoy, Rick Dunlap and Dana Brower), are excited to be able to offer super fresh pizza with a wide variety of toppings, baked right here at Crouse. The new venture has an added bonus for pizza lovers: special pricing being passed along to our diners, due to the cost savings of making the delicacy onsite.
"We welcome our employees, physicians, volunteers and visitors, but also invite our friends and neighbors on University Hill to stop by and try the area's newest place for pizza," said Alec Neider, director of nutritional services for Sodexo at Crouse Hospital.
