The Wellness Committee of Crouse Hospital’s Chemical Dependency Treatment Services celebrated Valentine’s Day with a twist: Puppy Love!
The Puppy Love Project was created to acknowledge the love employees have for their pets while having fun in the process. Staff members were invited to bring in pictures of their critters, which were attached to valentines and displayed in the lunchroom. A contest matching pets with their owners had everyone guessing as to which furry friend belonged to whom (especially Beardie, the bearded dragon). Many bags of pet food, treats and toys have been collected to be donated to the local SPCA. Crouse’s values of community service and innovation definitely shine with Puppy Love.
