They came and carried and carted box after box. Popular 93Q morning drive-time hosts Ted Long and Amy Robbins stepped from behind the mic to the loading dock of Crouse Hospital today to help prepare for the pick-up by Catholic Charities of $15,000 worth of gifts bound for local families.
Through the annual Adopt-a-Family program, now in its 21st year at the hospital, 63 departments — including the Crouse Hospital Auxiliary — purchased and wrapped holiday presents for 99 adults and 157 children, ranging from toys and games to clothing, household items and gift cards from local grocery stores.
Many thanks to Crouse employees for making the season a happier one for families in our community, including Physician Assistant Rick Albano, who greeted Ted and Amy with boxes of gifts with his fellow PAs. And special thanks to our good friends from 93Q for taking time out of their busy schedules — again this year — to lend a hand and add to the festivities. It just wouldn't be Christmas at Crouse without them!
