The Physicians of Pediatric Cardiology Associates were recognized as this year’s Crouse Health Foundation’s Tribute Evening honorees. Doctors (left to right) Craig Byrum, Matthew Egan, Frank Smith, Daniel Kveselis, and Nader Atallah were recognized for their significant contributions to Crouse Hospital and the thousands of lives they positively affect each year with their life-saving care.
“Young at Heart,” a Sinatra-inspired evening took place on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, The Oncenter. Beginning at 6 p.m., Tribute Evening 2014 featured an extended reception, gourmet dinner, tribute presentation, and entertainment by Nick Ziobro and the CNY Jazz Central Orchestra. The highlight of the evening was the salute to the Physicians of Pediatric Cardiology Associates.
Each of these five physicians is an accomplished practitioner who has used their excellent skills to save countless lives in Central New York. Consistently praised for their caring and expertise, the Physicians of Pediatric Cardiology Associates provide cardiovascular services to Central New York residents from the Canadian border in the north to the Pennsylvania border in the south. Each of the physicians serves as a pediatric cardiologist for Crouse Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical University, including the Golisano Children’s Hospital. They also have academic appointments with SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Tribute Evening 2014 proceeds will be used to support the work of Crouse Health Foundation including purchasing special equipment, underwriting new initiatives, and funding educational programs and scholarships.
