Each summer — on the third Monday in July — the Crouse Health Foundation hosts the Crouse Classic Golf Tournament, a premiere social and sporting event that supports infant services at Crouse Hospital. Tournament proceeds have purchased much-needed equipment for the hospital's Kienzle Family Maternity Center, including the Baker Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a New York State regional referral center for premature and critically-ill infants for the 15-county region it serves.
