Heather Neely, RD, CDN, has been a Registered Dietitian for more than 10 years. She attended SUNY Oneonta and received a bachelor's of science in dietetics. She then attended graduate school at the University of Delaware and studied Human Nutrition.
After completing her dietetic internship through Sodexo, she went on to work as a clinical dietitian at a hospital and eventually become the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Reston Hospital. Heather has also worked at a home care company and consulted for a private practice physician.
Heather is currently the Registered Dietitian for the Weight Loss Program at Crouse Hospital, where she counsels patients individually and in group classes and helps to facilitate the monthly support group.
Heather has received her certification in Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and became a certified Food Allergy Specialist through ELL and PAC.
